Just Nan
Sirens of the Sea
This was a delightful stitch; very colorful and full of summertime fun. Makes you want to head to the beach. I did not stray too far from the chart. I only altered a couple of things. I changed some over 1 stitching to over 2 and used a couple of overdyed threads. The fabric is 28 count cotten candy opalescent jobelyn (or lugana, I forget) from Enchanted fabrics. I stitched this over 2 (mostly). I started it on June 18, 2009 and finished it today July 2, 2009.
Looks really good. Well done!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! So PRETTY :O
ReplyDeleteGah I really want to get started on this, but must wait til I get paid before I can ordered the fabric for it.
BEAUTIFUL finish Tracy! I utterly adore the shimmer of the fabric too :D
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTracy it turned out beautiful. I'm going to do mine on 28 count ice blue cashel instead of what it called for.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Did you use the silks or just the DMC?
